REP - Siem Reap

Our flight is scheduled later tonight and we agreed to meet in the airport few hours before. I was a bit early I guess cause I had to wait around to meet them.

After boarding, we still have an hour or so of waiting, we ate our meal.. take outs from Jollibee and the coffee! yey! I need a kick for today, I wasn't able to sleep much with all the cramming and packing! *bad habit*

We arrived in Siem Reap later that night and still didn't know what to expect. We have booked our reservations in a bed & breakfast in Siem Reap named Bou Savy Guesthouse. It is relatively cheap and looks nice based on the review made by a blogger (SoloFlighted).

Touchdown!

Photos on our way out to the terminal. Having a hard time taking pictures of ourselves a nice tourist came by and asked me if I wanted him to take a picture for us! That's so nice of him and that's so lucky for us! He took the photo on the upper right corner above. hehe. Thank You Mister!

We were fetched by the owner with his car, explaining that there's currently a party back in the guesthouse for their Tuk-tuk drivers and no one is available but him to come for us. By the way, we were with another foreigner and the unlikely incident happened. Guess he didn't mind so much that we can understand English you know. He commented on a French bread with butter added with sugar being done in the Philippines and saying it tasted so awful! That was his term 'awful'! Oh well, we just brushed it off after darting him the 'Look'! Lol. I think he noticed because he looked back and sort of pushed back to his seat realizing maybe we came from the Philippines and it's such a tactless comment. We took no offense though it's just annoying a bit and certainly funny. And from then on, we named him "awful" with the same facial expression he had on while saying it! So, when we see him around, we'll look at each other and mouth "ayan na naman si "awful"!"  plus the sour face! =D

Arriving in the guesthouse, there were quite a lot of guests trying to check in and we are at lost what to do next being left in the corner with our things while watching the other tourists signing to check in. Then finally, the owner came to us and asked someone to assist us to our room. Whew! no need to sign and all the hassles! And then I was being teased again for having been assisted with my suitcase! While Ralei was just in front of me the mister turned and came for my suitcase instead leaving Ralei in shock of being bypassed.

Laughing our way up three flights. Oh the stairs! Thanks for the assistance. Lol.

The room was nice, not so fancy and simply kept. Neat and small not bad for a relatively cheap price.

Actually, I reserved for the fanned room only but they gave us the air conditioned one for the same price. Really, aren't we just lucky? lol.

And after we settled, ate a little bit and shower, dead tired, we head for bed excited for tomorrow's exploring! Can't hardly wait~
