busan city tour - Gwangalli & Haeundae beach

We didn’t intend to see everything; we just wanted to have a good look with what Busan have. Straight we go to Gwangalli beach, to play in the shore with the birds.. The sun is warm and the breeze was refreshing. I so love the beach, I can’t resist it. I wanted to dip in and feel the water however, it is winter.. and well, I might not like the cold water in my skin.. so better not ruin the moment and just kept my toes in my shoes!

We took a loooot of photos, we saw a lot of birds too.. It was fun.. and then we wanted a decent group pic, problem is we don’t have any place to stick on Jo-unni’s wonder tripod but…. I saw a police ajeossi walking by the shore and took the chance of asking him the favor! Knowing the language is really beneficial!

We walked around some more and then head back to the bus stop for the next destination. Up is Haeundae! Another beach to see.. ^_^

Haeundae, well, this seemed more packed than Gwangalli. Lots of people all over the place, I think it’s because it was a Saturday. Anyway, we did fed the birds too.. and then head to see the mermaid. it was quite a walk. The sky was clear, what a pretty day. We played with our shadows, did some sightseeing and looked for a map to find the mermaid. On our way we saw this photo booth! How cool is that! We can take souvenir photos and send it to our emails!! Wah! Giddy!

On our way, we had a group photo again. I asked another ajhossi to take our photo. It comes handy to be able to speak their language. But then he is an older ajhossi and he is with someone, maybe his son, I don’t know. I felt it was a bit embarrassing on me, maybe I should’ve asked the younger ones to take our picture.

Yay! Finally we saw the mermaid. Hihi.. then another struggle for a decent group picture.

While taking photos, a group of hakseng (or we just thought haksengdeul, we’re not sure. Lol) asked Karen-unni to take their group picture and in return they will take our group photo too. It was really funny, they had a single iphone for their group picture and when it came for our turn, each one of us handed our camera and their looks were priceless!!! So we handed them each of our cam and agreed to take the photos from left to right. However, those playful haksengdeul also took some candid shots! Toinks! We only found out after checking it out back in our hotel..

It was past lunch, time to grab something to eat. We saw some food stalls around, streetfood!!! we ate corndogs, ddeukbokkgi, and chicken barbeque, then my favorite vendo machine for drinks. Kkk..

Not bad for lunch, then we stopped by in Starbucks to check out their city tumblers, stayed for a while and claimed the free coffee that comes with every purchase of the tumbler.

We walked around the Haeundae market before going back to the bus stop.
Today was nice.. The beach was nice.. The people were nice..
The day has ended with the sunset but the night is just to begin!
