I met with my girl friend to watch her guy perform. Her long time boyfriend is a drummer of a rock band and they are having a gig at a hole-in-the-wall bar somewhere in the south. I forgot the name! ahaha I'm so bad! I was able to watch some other performers as well. Some of the groups sounds great while some are too noisy for me. I'm not sure if I liked it but my friend and I moved some place else to have a decent conversation while her boyfriend stayed with his band and their partners back in the bar.

And this is more of my scene.. and while at it we had a better tasting food than back at the other bar.

Feeling adventurous tonight.. we even had balut! But I begged off it. I just can't! hehe

Together with our cool boss, the night was really a blast. And after our 3rd and a half bottles of Jack Daniels we're ready to call it a night. Skye is a nice place, pretty pricey but service-wise, food quality and drinks.. totally worth the penny! Ambiance and music is another thing though. Maybe it's just not my crowd but since I am with a bunch of happy people, who'll say I didn't had a great time? It's a plus that I am recently obsessing over some roof decks! 

We head out after some goodbyes and I ended up with Eloi, Ayen and Jong in search for some happy food or I might say, hangover food. So I wonder, why does it feels good to binge after a long night of drinking? Or is it just me? XD and just after we ate, we head on our own ways while I still need to keep my eyes open and attend the 6am mass. *filial duties* Some daughter I am!

I was sleeping the day off and just woke up when I saw Heidi-unni's messages and missed calls. Last minute notice on a night's date at Eastwood it is. Ate Ueno, a friend for years, was on her way back to Japan at least for a lengthy time. So it is only now that we have the chance to meet her before leaving off again. There was supposed to be a date last Thursday, but then I am caught up with work that I can't commit my time to meeting them. It was a second chance sprung to have the last minute date!

Er. only an hour left before the meeting time! I need to do fast shower! No indulging bath today. T.T Good thing I move fast, except for the time-slowing of warming my bath water. I grab anything I can wear. Dress, powder, heels is all I need and Voila! I'm ready to go! And most people of my acquaintance wouldn't even believe for a second that I can do that! (Is it that hard to believe I am not vain?? and Vanity is not my middle name? hahaha) Anyway, I took a cab to Eastwood. It's a weekend I thought so. And thought I'll be the latest one to arrive because of the non-cooperating traffic! Alas! I was the third one. I came to meet Heidi-unni and Stella sitting in the corner of Gaffitti having their way on a bucket of sorts of beers and bottled alcohol mixes. We started the night with ourselves and let the others know where to meet us including Ate Ueno. ^__^ and by the way, we thought it was an all girls night out we forgot she has a boyfriend always leashed by her side. (no offense to him but we three, Heidi-unni, Stella and I, thought at least a night with just the girls would be nice).

It was a fun night too. Non-stop reminiscing (though I don't know some of the names being mentioned since I had departed our common school when we were in sixth grade), Non-stop laughing and sharing. I was friends with them when we were in our elementary years in Stella Maris College. We were tight friends by then, drifted a bit after we parted in the sixth grade. It is when I transferred school, the graduating year it is. Quite a leap for me to suddenly adjust to a COED school. Anyway, we found our way back and get even closer in Highschool, with Ate Winkaye and Ate Ueno, through endless phone calls at day to the next day! Imagine us three not getting off the phone for hours and still we had something to talk about the next day! It was incredulous at it's best but it did happen. We drifted a bit when we went off to college yet we still find time to catch up or meet once in eons. Same goes until now.

On the other hand, I get to be closer with Ate Heidi when we found each other again back in College. It was really amazing seeing her in a distant that time, it was years ago since I last saw her then and I am not sure if she even remembers me. Remembering the first time I saw her again in line in UST while we wait for our turn in registration I don't know if I should say hello, yet I decided better not to. Months after it was a huge shock to see her on the first day of school in the same classroom as I was. We were block mates! Awesome fate! And when we first talked we then realized we did saw each other in that line and the truth is, we unknowingly both decided not to say hello fearing the small talks and awkward silence after the initial 'Hello'. and just like that we started anew. =D and until now we still have our time together, travel together and dreams.

It was a long history of friendship! And I am glad we still remember each other every now and then. And yes it is! OLD LOVE IS STILL LOVE!

 We ended the night after grabbing something warm at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Sobered, we left and end the night with more laughs and another memories to be kept together. Cheers! ♥

soirée!!

It was the night!!! er. rain and all, haggard and wet! My plan still pushed through and that is the dinner at Bugsy's with the Ayesa, Eilan, Eva, Jhas, Ate Heidz and Ralei plus Pagz the only boy last night. Nice place to just chill and relax and chat. It's something like let's-go-grab-a-drink-and-talk type of pub. I like it! I didn't have dinner there and just went straight to business while they eat theirs. With Ate Heidz we ordered our first glass of the night! yay! lots of talking and catching up went on. I missed them! ^_^ we had a lot of laughs and as if Pagz is threatening to leave, he can't! =P Not while I'm still here Mister! 

Thanks Jhassie for the treat!!! We then head to Fiama in Makati and well, it was boring. We had our drinks and waited til half past midnight before coming back to the Fort. We checked out Amber and it's quite a crowd so we decided to stay. No Fees!! Thanks to Ate Heidz's charms!! lol. We drink and and dance the night away. After which we walked barefoot around while hailing for a cab, went to Ralei's place, had an ice cream and walked to grab something to eat. PIZZA!!! how unfortunate the 24 hr-store was close so we did Wendy's instead. Pagz was so drunk and wasted he is doing the 'drunk stuff'. And he was quite an annoying drunk-Pagz!

Since we were in Seoul, why not meet a former Korean classmate from college....


It was delicious, fun and worth it! ^_^ How I wish we were also able to meet Happy Mama.. She was on a trip to Jeju, what's up with the luck!

This was the time when I realized how serious the 'eye' issue was.. remember the photo souvenir in Busan, where we had taken more than a couple of shots just because my eyes can't be seen (as in it looks like my eyes were shut but not)... The picture above have a similar one, only Joseph's eyes looked like a bit closed. He asked me to delete it as his reason goes, he's eyes were ugly there and he didn't like it. lol. now I know. at that moment, us, 3 girls, just looked at each other and save the laugh for later.. How vain? oh well.. It's the way it is..

back to the city called 'SEOUL' ^_^

Up early to be early back in the city! no time to waste! Today is the semi shopping day! hihi..

We stayed in a motel last night across Suncheon Station. We were dead tired and nobody wants to move after lying down in the bed! waaah... so comfy! For dinner, we just bought some chicken and noodles around the corner. Hello 7 eleven! lol. on our way back to our room we forgot to ask for some chopsticks! How can we forget that??? We came back to the store and ask for some "chopsticks" and well, I think he doesn't speak english. The male cashier was giving us some straw then we point it out to him and he was like, 'ahh... jeokarak(젓가락)' hehe

We ate, slept and showered... Then off to Suncheon station for the earliest train to Seoul. We were one of those who were really early waiting there. *excited?? eh*

It was quite a long trip, and once we arrived in Seoul we had to plan what's today's agenda. But before that, breakfast please! I'm starving.. In search for food we found a Dunkin' Donuts.. We ordered and stayed in the corner.. Then while finishing off our breakfast.. oh clumsiness! Why so clumsy! I spilled my coffee!! waaah.. my coat! oetteoke!!!! Heidi-unni helped me to clean it up.. On our way to the ladies' room, I almost bump an ajeossi (mid-aged man) and a haraboji (grandpa).. Oh no! I can't afford anybody to be injured!!! I can't afford medical fees!!! oops! That's me kidding around with Heidi-unni.. We were laughing everywhere.. hahaha! 

Today's plan: Them, check-in in their booked guesthouse.. Me, back to Kuya Abs apartment to fix some of my things and then meet up in Myeongdong for lunch and some shopping! yay! We went our ways and agreed to meet someplace in Myeongdong.

I know the way to Kuya Abs apartment so I had no problem with that. Going to Myeongdong, I knew which station it is however, there were a lot of exits!!! And this is where I got lost. I received Ate Heidi's text messages, but then, hmm.. I am no good with directions! Bad idea to split up! It took us a while to see each other! It took me a while to find them! and thanks to Mr. Policeman I found my way. But it was embarrassing to be escorted by a police in and out of the underground shops in Myeongdong. haha. It was quite an experience! thanks ajeossi! ^_^

When I found them it was past lunch already and we were already starving. We looked up somewhere to eat and found Kang Ho Dong Restaurant. hmm.. A little price-y I think but not so bad. We had a good meal, full our tummy and off we go to Sinchon!!!! I miss that area! Last time, it's the only place in Seoul I know how to go to from Kobos Hotel. hehe.. 

On the bus to Sinchon.... ok.. Failed! we were lost on the first attempt! hahaha..

I need a money changer yet again.. We found one in Sinchon. Mr. Money changer was really nice, the tourists before us were all Chinese, so when I approached the window he thought I was with the group before. He asked us if we were on the same group, I said no. oh flattery.. He said we were pretty and I speak well... woot! back to the shopping part..  

We walked and walked and walked and walked.. and found Heidi and Karen-unni's shoes! Parfait! as for me I have no more space for shoes.. *sad face* so I passed on that one.. Ajhumma was really nice, when we asked to have a picture with her she hugged us tight! awkward!~ 

We browsed around.. bought some make ups and accessories.. until we found this personalized shop.. we've been here last year but this time felt warmer than the last time. It was cute inside the shop and the owner of Party Soo was really nice. After buying a few pieces she gave us a free pearl bracelets. So sweet! We also asked a picture with her. teehee!

More browsing and now that we're tired time for dinner.. Off we go at Choice 21 for unlimited meat! yay! hihi..

super late and was really annoyed.. plus mom's irritating stance @ Abe's.. whatta great night! tsk!

I waited at Fully Booked for over two hours.. looked for Conti's and waited outside for more or less half an hour... Patience is a virtue, yeah right! it applies if it's reasonable to wait but if not???? well, it will get into you eventually and it hit me that night!
