some touristy-stuff

We tried to do some touristy stuffs with the kids. With all the crowd of people around, traffic anywhere. at the least, we were able to check out the strawberry farm.

Then, we had a really late lunch.... in Sizzling Plate/Steakhouse place. Still more line and waiting.

Since after, it was decided to turn back and just stay in the apartment. We only went out to buy some take away for dinner. Then eventually, it was decided to cut the trip short and drive back home early tomorrow to avoid the traffic and all this nightmares with the crowds.

Baguio

We did not expect this hell of a traffic going to Baguio. Looks like everyone is set to spent the holidays in the City of Pines and now, everyone is jammed in the same traffic going there. The 5-6hrs drive became a whole day drive and there's no turning back. From sunrise to sunset we've been in the road.
A quick stopover for a break and dinner at a rest stop parking area of a gasoline station where, again, all people decided to stop, buy food and use the bathroom. Luckily, mom always prepare food packed enough for all of us to share.

We arrived late in the rented apartment.. just in time for me to log in for work.

Unfortunately, my network sucks big time! *sigh* Maybe it has something to do with a lot of people in the area is using it at the same time.

I just want to rest and go home and skip this crowd and traffic. =(

Party - Work - Lunch date

Talk about work-life balance.

Let's start Friday night when we headed out to a family friend's birthday celebration in Bentekwatro Restobar Grill in Pasig. Well, the place is a typical restobar. Some place you can hangout after a long day at work maybe, somewhere you can hangout and loosen up. It's not fancy but a casual and a comfy spot to get a drink. And please don't expect a smokeless grill! Lol

A buffet spread of several delicious concoctions were offered in the party. The celebrant was one of the owners of the place, he knows good food and we all appreciate good food! The tuna was really awesome and it is included in their real menu. Well, everything was nice and better with drinks, you know what I mean.....

It was a short affair for me since I needed to head on for work then but not after I had my fill! I'm feeling a little bad tonight because my sister and I had a few drinks before I left for work. Hope no one get to notice it. But really, I do think I look better after a few drinks. jk!

Anyway, from work... I met with the girlfriends for another Japanese buffet. Off to line up outside Genji M in Makati. We did not expect the crowd lining outside the restaurant for the buffet. Anyway, we did get in. It was okay, the food was not bad or maybe I just lost my appetite after all those time that we lined up outside and waited for our queue.

Holy week...end

It's this time of the year again. Sort of a tradition between Daddy's and his friends' families. We do spent a few times together whenever possible. This year we're off to PiñaColina again for the weekend until Easter Sunday.

I started my day straight from work, video calling my dear sister. haha Caught her forehead! and she hated me for that! hahaha My only excuse for doing that is because I'm trying to amuse myself being I'm still working and not so looking forward a long drive because of the traffic and all.

For three days..

at Noon

at Dawn

at Dusk

Family and these were all I need and I'm sold!

We spent the two days talking, sleeping and eating together and just that! It was a certified Bum's days indeed! Too bad it was short lived.

Because Sunday, Easter Sunday to be exact, we hurried home, (1) because of the traffic and (2) because each of the families have separate commitments. Well, even I myself, have my separate commitment! The Script Concert!!! weeee! *swoon*

continuing family tradition

happy easter in Batangas!

After the long, changing, unpredictable planning... finally, the wives and mothers have decided and we are on a short weekend trip to Batangas near Kuya Pancho's newly acquired farm. We were not complete but still it's fun.. Just like family..

some things just never fails to amaze me.. ^_^

I took a few shots around the rented sort of resort.. and found some interesting things. I thought it's awesome to stay in the province but I doubt if I can survive my lifetime living there. As always, we pigged out and had a lots of chat. Adults were really funny and has a lot of chismis to share. Night swimming plus white wine.. and I'm all sold! hihihi.. It was quite a short lived Easter weekend but we sure did enjoy each others company..

Date on the first day of the year

Maybe it is tradition. Maybe it is a habit. Either way, mom and dad really make it happen to go to gatherings with old friends. It has been like this for years now, even before we were born, even before mom married dad. It’s awesome to witness friendships as tight as this. Dad has really found true friends. J
And today, we were set to go on lunch with them. Families. Lunch in dampa and lots of talking. J
And this is the part where we learned that Kuya Abe flew to Seoul for work and I am sort of pressured to stay with him on my trip to Seoul with Ate Joanne.

Dad’s friends were nice, and the wives were cute. Chikahan to the max! I wish to have similar set of friends. People who treasures one another and keep old ties alive. Never fades and never grows old with time. Surely it is awesomely impressive!
