trying to be sporty??

I didn't intend to try it but I love my friends that I got swayed into doing it anyway.

We are in a quick spontaneous weekend trip with no reservation or whatsoever. We don't even know what else to do except for their plan to do wakeboarding. First we checked out Nuvali.. and boy! It was full! So we ended up in Pampanga where we were hoping to book a room in Pradera Verde but unfortunately, with the event this weekend, it is already fully booked. Not to lose hope, we ended up staying in a bed and breakfast a few kilometers away from Pradera that we decided to just comeback in the morning for them to wakeboard.

For the night, we ended up having dinner in a neighboring Japanese restaurant and shopping snacks and drinks in the nearby grocery then settled for the night after hours of laughing and chatting. I really love these people!

And then the morning came.. and this happened! HAHAHA

It was fun indeed.. but still this will probably be my first and last after all those water I drank! Lol

surviving Chili Vodka!

My friend promised me his incredible mix of vodka from the bar where he works at the time. I terribly missed my old friends and had set to see each other tonight. I gave up to watch a live game of football for this and also the company year end party too.

I started with food and they started with drinks! Am I the only one hungry here???

And after then, we were served with a shot of chili vodka and milk! Honestly, I don't know what to expect of it. We were laughing, cheering and making fun of each other beforehand. Then right after the shots.... no one spoke first. hmm.. I think we should have left this for the final rounds of drinks. It didn't set the mood for more drinking! It was a little funny that we were all waiting for each others reaction. I thought it was spicy weird with the milk as the chaser afterwards, I don't think it would do my tummy good! The only good thing that came out of it was that no one is drunk or full enough to need to use the bucket provided for you know! Well, I guess it went well that way. But I won't do it again! hahaha It's weird and it kills the mood. Period! So we grab our beers and went on the night, laughing and catching up with our lives.

Yes, we capped the night eating after all those drinking.

We failed to reserve ahead of time....so we did TWG located in Century Mall instead. 71Gramercy will have to wait for next week! This time, we made sure to reserve a table in advance. LOL It's a date!

Dinner was served and done with, now I need to ran off to a friend's house for my honey's send off get together.

And this was how our night ended.. snuggled together in one huge bed! lol

Baby visit

And because the other night was not enough.. we took a visit at Lester's home to have a look at him in action and have a good look at Louis as well.

He's baby was really adorable I want to take him home! Lol and we kept joking how he managed to have a handsome little boy. HAHA some things never change I guess.. After a short visit, we head out for a quick dinner. A spin nearby it was. And Sharrie and Charles brought us here at Ddeyang Kkalbi, a Korean restaurant along Katipunan I think. Oh my goodness.. I'm so lost. Sorry, but I think it was just nearby and yes, I'm pretty bad with directions and locations as usual. toink!

The food was great and the servings was soooo generous! They also have unlimited side dishes which is real awesome because not all Korean restaurant around the metro offers the same.

And dinner will not be complete without desserts.. In our search for something sweet and while we failed to find one along Maginhawa St. since the night was closing to midnight. We then headed back to Katipunan and found Honeybee. It looked like  apart of Tokyo bubble tea just beside it.

Nice place for dessert.. and well, after, driving round and round, finding this one was just our luck. I'm happy with the cake and my cappuccino. Couldn't complain but then we still need to go home since we dragged a family man with us and he has this cute little munchkin waiting for him at home while his better half is working the night shift.

It was a happy time and some quality time I missed spending with them after a long while of not seeing each other.

I therefore conclude, we should all see each other more!!!

bouncing baby boy!

My dear friend Lester bore a cute little boy! uhmm.. I mean his lady partner literally bore the baby of course. And baby Louis's christening was scheduled today.

It's a weekday and I am swamped with work and then there's a funeral I still have to attend with the family. Okay, now I feel bad. There are way too many occasions that I've been missing out with my high school loves. And today, I thought will be just the same that I'll miss celebrating baby Louis's christening with them. Well, I did miss the church affair but I was able to be part of the after party. As the saying goes.. better late than never!

I'll just catch up with the little angel later on.. since this has become an all-adults-social-affair. Indeed, it was an after party and it was so nice seeing them! It was a while the last time I saw almost the whole gang.

Cheers for more years of friendship!! 15 years and counting.. still going strong!

highschool loves

It was indeed a long ride and before heading home, on my rebellious mode, I met up with some old friends! My kind-a-more-than-fickle friends who changes plans almost every minute that I can't really keep up sometimes that I ended up missing it most of the time. But I love them all the same. They have their moments you know and I love the fact that we still try to keep in touch like forever!

Sweaty, stinky and tired me missed them all so much and the rest of the gang. So sad that I need to leave past midnight. I'm worn out and as much as I wanted to stay and spend time with them I need my rest too. A few hours of catching up might do for now. 

I really missed the bunch of them, the jokes, laughs and all. Great to still have them.. regardless of how muddled brain we are when planning a get together it's nice to know I'll always have them around. =) Well, except for one, I can't believe this one replied on my text with who am I. What's up guy? I know I'm bad with texting and all that but you don't need to delete me from your contacts. Yes, I'm feeling annoyed a bit by that. I just can't believe he'll do that to me! XD Does having a girlfriend does that to some friends? toink! Anyway, time to cap the night.... I'm on the parents bad side right now and well, I'll just think about it tomorrow after having my shower and some goodnight's sleep.
